Abstract

Les questions autour de l’importance de l’irrigation en agriculture se posent de plus en plus avec le changement climatique. Dans ce contexte, des essais ont été mis en place pour étudier l’impact de l’irrigation sur des cultures fourragères (luzerne, raygrass anglais, raygrass hydride et fétuque). Ces essais visent à déterminer l’efficience de l’eau pour ces cultures, c’est-à-dire la quantité de matière sèche produite par millimètre d’eau apporté, ainsi que l’impact de l’irrigation sur la qualité des fourrages. Les résultats préliminaires donnent des efficiences de l’eau entre 18 et 29 kg MS/ha/mm en fonction des espèces, ainsi qu’un très faible impact du régime hydrique sur la qualité alimentaire. Ces résultats doivent être encore consolidés par une dernière année d’expérimentation.
