Abstract

Al inicio del módulo se planteó una problemática que caracteriza la ciencia, la tecnología y la innovación (CTI) en los países Latinoamericanos y es que estos se enfrentan a un problema expresado en el círculo vicioso: muy baja demanda de conocimiento por parte de los sectores productivo y social, mínima legitimidad para la generación de conocimiento, modesta producción de conocimiento, persistencia de las condiciones de estancamiento en el nivel de desarrollo. También se argumentó que el fortalecimiento de los Sistemas Nacionales de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación (SNCTI) debe redundar en un mejor desarrollo del país y de los territorios . La pregunta central que se ha planteado en este módulo es ¿cuáles son los factores críticos que inciden en la promoción de la Ciencia, la Tecnología y la Innovación, como motor de desarrollo económico y social sustentable desde una perspectiva multidimensional?
