Sistemas autosostenibles: Una revisión de materiales innovadores

Abstract

The great industrial revolution, or Industrial Revolution 2.0, is happening right now, before our very eyes. It involves a radical shift in materials for infrastructure, at the macro, micro, and nano levels. This has led us to move beyond simply considering materials for the foundations of our large cities and factories. We are now designing materials that are malleable, adaptable, mutable, and flexible, as well as mimetic and absorbent to any type of physical, chemical, or biological component. The objective of this study was to review the world's leading databases to identify findings and innovations related to self-sustainability. This was accomplished by consulting nearly 12,000 studies and selecting a theoretical framework of approximately thirty research projects for the development of this manuscript. This study concludes that the use of soft materials combined with robotics can take business self-sustainability to the next level of development and progress, allowing us to make an unprecedented technological leap with variations that we cannot yet calculate, but which will certainly bring us a hopeful future in all areas of knowledge.
