Abstract

O artigo pretende apresentar algumas reflexões que afirmam a relevância dos Sistemas Enterprise Resource Planning para gestão e análise de negócios por empresas e organizações, com o objetivo principal de explicar o que são esses sistemas, e de forma específica, analisar pesquisas científicas que citam os benefícios e os desafios advindos da utilização de sistemas de planejamento de recursos com foco na inovação, além de um exemplo de utilização de ERP em um hospital de grande porte. Trata-se de sistemas de coleta, gerenciamento e análise de dados e informações, que organizam em um único banco de dados tudo o que é relativo à operação da empresa. Na seara da saúde, instituições hospitalares, clínicas e outras também são consideradas empresas, quando se trata de gerenciamento, e, portanto, necessitam de aprimoramento tecnológico nas práticas de gestão. Foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica descritiva e qualitativa, em artigos científicos acerca do tema. Conclui-se a relevância e importância da tecnologia para inovação de processos, bens e serviços, além da coleta, do tratamento e da análise de dados de modo a embasar decisões administrativas bem-sucedidas no âmbito das empresas. A automação de dados é prática recorrente e se desenvolve na medida em que a inovação tecnológica exige que empresas e organizações dinamizem processos para atender o mercado capitalista e se manterem competitivas. Os sistemas podem ajudar a minimizar erros humanos, acelerar a tomada de decisões, integralizar a cadeia de processos e beneficiar a gestão como um todo.
