Playfulness is the foundation of integral development in early childhood. More than just entertainment, play is the child's natural language, functioning as an essential tool for the construction of knowledge and the interpretation of the world around them. In the pedagogical context, playful activities promote benefits in multiple dimensions: Cognitive: They stimulate logical reasoning, creativity, concentration, and problem-solving in a pleasurable way. Socio-emotional: They facilitate interaction, respect for rules, empathy, and emotional control. Motor: They develop coordination, balance, and body awareness. By transforming learning into a meaningful and light experience, playfulness ensures that the child becomes the protagonist of their own educational journey. Therefore, the role of the educator is not only to teach, but to mediate spaces where play and learning coexist, ensuring a healthy, affective, and lasting development of the individual for full development.
