ARTE E NATUREZA: ESTUDO DAS RELAÇÕES ENTRE ARTE E MEIO AMBIENTE, REPRESENTAÇÕES DA NATUREZA E ECOLOGIA

Abstract

The relationship between art and nature has accompanied human history, appearing in different cultures, historical periods, and forms of artistic expression. From the representation of nature in prehistoric art to contemporary artistic practices focused on environmental issues, nature has served as a source of inspiration, aesthetic reflection, and social critique. This article aims to analyze the relationship between art and the environment, highlighting how nature is represented in artistic production and how art can contribute to ecological and environmental reflections. The research was conducted through qualitative bibliographic review based on studies in art, aesthetics, art history, and ecology. The results indicate that art plays a significant role in raising awareness about environmental issues, enabling new ways of perceiving and interpreting nature. It is concluded that the relationship between art and nature constitutes an important interdisciplinary field for understanding contemporary ecological challenges.
