Propuesta Pedagógica Barajemos: Implementación de la Cátedra de Estudios Afrocolombianos en una Institución Educativa

Abstract

A pesar de los avances jurídicos, la verdadera inclusión social de la población afrocolombiana es tarea pendiente. La escuela está llamada a contribuir en la ruptura de estereotipos y acciones discriminatorias que ocurren en los procesos educativos. El objetivo de esta investigación es el diseño de una propuesta pedagógica para la implementación de la Cátedra de Estudios Afrocolombianos (CEA) llamada Barajemos, que permita revertir la discriminación racial presente en la Institución Educativa (I.E.) Junín (Tierralta, Córdoba, Colombia) desde el fortalecimiento del autorreconocimiento étnico cultural, mediante acciones formativas novedosas. A través de un enfoque cualitativo sociocrítico, se da cuenta de diseños pedagógicos para la formación docente, la investigación, el currículo, las actividades extracurriculares y comunitarias, que en estrecha sinergia contribuirán a fortalecer la Afrocolombianidad, y permitirán procesos emancipatorios en los (as) estudiantes de ese grupo étnico cultural. Se concluye que, el rescate y actualización de la Afrocolombianidad empoderará a los estudiantes para ejercer sus derechos. Se deberá trabajar de conjunto con los garantes de las políticas públicas del territorio, en aras de garantizar una educación de calidad reconocedora del valor de lo Afrocolombiano, promoviendo la igualdad de oportunidades y contribuyendo a una sociedad más justa y equitativa.
