Abstract

Poeti i shekullit XV Mesihi njihet në letërsinë turke si Prishtineli Mesihi. Ai vjen nga Kosova-Prishtina, por ka jetuar edhe në Bosnje. Këtë ai e ka theksuar në poezitë e tij. Poezia e tij e njohur për pranverën, Baharije, për të cilën orientalisti Sir William Jones (1774) arriti në përfundimin se në letërsinë turke është vetëm Mesihi që e ka shkruar poezinë për pranverën, prandaj përfaqëson Letërsinë Turke në letërsinë botërore. Kjo poezi u prezantua në veprën e Jones në origjinal dhe e përkthyer në latinisht. Orientalistët siç janë profesori F. Bajraktareviq, H. Kaleshi dhe profesori I. Eren në veprat e tyre kanë folur për poezinë e Mesihit Baharije.Ky studim ka të bëjë me disa sekuenca të jetës dhe krijimtarisë së poetit Mesihi Prishtina.
