ABSTRACT:This article explores the intersection between environmental racism and sustainability, highlighting how marginalized communities disproportionately suffer from negative environmental impacts. Environmental racism directs pollutants and risks to these populations, compromising their health and well-being. For sustainability to be effective and inclusive, it must address these inequalities. We will discuss how environmental racism affects sustainability efforts and present strategies to promote an approach that ensures a healthy quality of life for all, integrating environmental and social justice. The article problematizes: Is combating environmental racism important for sustainability and for everyone to have a better quality of life? The inductive and Cartesian methods were used, respectively, in the research and data processing phase. In the research, the inductive basis was used.
