Efectos de la Responsabilidad Social Corporativa en el consumidor del Sur de Tamaulipas

Abstract

La responsabilidad Social Corporativa involucra actividades en la sociedad y medio ambiente como parte de las funciones de las empresas sin embargo, algunas de ellas aún se muestran escépticas respecto de sus efectos económicos. En este sentido, este trabajo pretende analizar los efectos de la RSC en la confianza, la lealtad y la disposición de pago de los clientes de una cadena de supermercados del Sur de Tamaulipas, así como la relación entre las variables endógenas: los efectos de la confianza sobre la lealtad y los efectos de la lealtad sobre las disposiciones de pago. Se llevó a cabo un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales (CV-SEM) con datos de 205 consumidores. Los resultados confirman importantes efectos de la RSC sobre el comportamiento de los consumidores que inciden directamente sobre el consumo. Este estudio refuerza la idea de que iniciativas de responsabilidad social tienen un impacto en la percepción y comportamiento de los consumidores, el efecto de este tipo de acciones potencializan la confianza hacia las empresas que las llevan a cabo lo que conduce a la lealtad y a la disposición de un pago mayor por los productos que ofrecen.
