Evaluasi Penggunaan Antibiotik Pada Pasien Sepsis Neonatus Di RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang Tahun 2021-2022

Abstract

Sepsis merupakan respon sistemik terhadap infeksi, yang dapat menyebabkan kegagalan multi organ dan dapat mengakibatkan kematian. Terapi antibiotik diperlukan untuk penyakit sepsis neonatus. Penggunaan antibiotik pada sepsis neonatus selalu berdasarkan pada indikasi yang tepat/rasional. Karena jika indikasi tidak sesuai dapat terjadi kejadian resisten dan dapat mempengaruhi penyembuhan penyakit pada pasien sepsis neonatus. Kelebihan metode Gyssen yaitu lebih teliti dan terperinci/jelas, dapat mengevaluasi penggunaan antibiotik secara kualitatif lebih tepat sehingga akan mencegah perkembangan antibiotik resisten. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan antibiotik pada pasien sepsis neonatus dengan metode Gyssens di RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang tahun 2021-2022. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan desain retrospektif dengan melihat data rekam medis. Sampel yang diambil adalah pasien sepsis neonatus pada tahun 2021-2022 yang mendapat antibiotik dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan antibiotik yang tergolong tepat (kategori 0) sebanyak 28 peresepan (38,88%), antibiotik tidak lebih efektif (kategori IVa) sebanyak 3 peresepan (4,17%), antibiotik terlalu lama (kategori IIIa) sebanyak 5 peresepan (6,94%), antibiotik terlalu singkat (kategori IIIb) sebanyak 22 peresepan (30,56%), antibiotik tidak tepat dosis (kategori IIa) sebanyak 11 peresepan (15,28%), antibiotik tidak tepat interval (kategori IIb) sebanyak 3 peresepan (4,17%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan antibiotik pada pasien sepsis neonates, terdapat 28 peresepan (38,88%) penggunaan antibiotik yang tepat/rasional (kategori 0) dan 44 peresepan (61,12%) penggunaan antibiotik yang tidak tepat/irasional (kategori VI-I).
