Abstract

Les troubles du comportement chez les traumatisés crâniens constituent une séquelle majeure et une sujétion considérable pour les familles. Il a été question dans cette étude de décrire leurs caractéristiques au sein d’une population des traumatisés crâniens reçus à l’Hôpital de l’Amitié Sino-Congolaise de la ville de Kinshasa, en République démocratique du Congo. Les résultats obtenus sont les suivants :  La majorité des traumatisés crâniens 56.5%) avait développé les troubles du comportement ;  L’anxiété persistante, l’irritabilité, la tristesse de l’humeur et le retrait social sont les troubles du comportement les plus fréquents chez les traumatisés crâniens ;  La majorité des patients se trouvait dans la catégorie des jeunes adultes ;  La plupart des patients ont perdu connaissance initialement ;  Les patients victimes des TC sévères et modérés ont été les plus nombreux à développer les troubles du comportement.
