Examining the design of the model of electoral governance in the Islamic Republic of Iran with a focus on electoral governance in the Islamic Council

Abstract

Electoral participation and popular votes are among the clear examples of political behavior, the issues that are important to study to understand the changes in society. Comparative studies on electoral governance provide valuable insights into various electoral systems, their strengths, weaknesses and consequences for democratic government. It is the Islamic Council. The qualitative statistical community in this research is made up of experts who work as managers of the election headquarters of the Islamic Council of Tehran. The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling. To achieve this goal, a qualitative and documentary research method was used and the required information was collected through interviews with experts and analysis of documents. The results showed that effective causal conditions in the place of elections, processes, platforms, contextual factors, strategies and various consequences have an effect on electoral governance in the Islamic Council.
