Turismo de litoral

Abstract

La relevancia del turismo sol y playa en la actividad económica de un determinado municipio junto a la importancia de garantizar su sostenibilidad, son factores que obligan a reflexionar sobre la necesidad de llevar a cabo una gestión eficiente que asegure la buena marcha del negocio turístico, su calidad y supervivencia en el tiempo. Por este motivo, es objetivo del presente trabajo definir líneas de actuación que permitan mejorar la sostenibilidad de las zonas del litoral, su situación actual y gestión y que contribuyan a garantizar la competitividad de las mismas. Del trabajo se concluye que el desarrollo sostenible de las zonas del litoral es una necesidad cada vez más urgente que, sin duda alguna, permitirá el logro de una mayor riqueza tanto ambiental (mayor calidad de vida), social (población residente y turistas que se integran) como económica (beneficios que repercuten en la población residente y medio ambiente).
