Abstract

Desde fines del siglo pasado existieron en la Argentina intereses sectoriales y políticos preocupados por promover la actividad industrial a través de una orientación adecuada del crédito bancario. Se pretendía así superar la mera prédica por la reforma de las tarifas aduaneras y dar otro factor de apoyo al crecimiento manufacturero.
