Focusing: Un Abordaje Psicopedagógico en la Praxis Docente

Abstract

El presente avance de investigación aborda la técnica del focusing a través de un abordaje psicopedagógico en la praxis docente, enmarcado en el contexto de educación primaria, U.E Colegio “Arzobispo Méndez”, parroquia El Carmen, municipio Barinas, estado Barinas. El propósito general es comprender la praxis docente, un aborde psicopedagógico mediante la técnica del focusing. Como lo expresa Gendlin (2006), el focusing es: “Conectar con las profundidades del ser y bucear en la sabiduría implícita que todos llevamos dentro” (p. 11). La investigación se fundamenta en la Teoría del Focusing por Eugene Gendlin (1978) y la Teoría de la Inteligencia Emocional por Daniel Goleman (1995). A nivel metodológico, se centra en un paradigma cualitativo, la investigación adopta un enfoque fenomenológico-hermenéutico y sociocrítico, permitiendo comprender la relación entre la autorregulación emocional y la enseñanza. Entre las técnicas de recolección de información se encuentra la observación directa y entrevistas semiestructurada dirigida a tres docentes de educación primaria, así como revisión documental. De igual manera, el análisis se realiza según Martínez (2006), mediante categorización, estructuración, contrastación y teorización. En fin, esta investigación busca generar un constructo que posicione la técnica del focusing para reformular los modelos pedagógicos tradicionales, así, fortalecer la praxis educativa.
