Estrategias de Aprendizaje para Mejorar la Comprensión de Progresiones Aritméticas en Estudiantes de Educación Superior

Abstract

La enseñanza de las progresiones aritméticas, desde la perspectiva del aprendizaje cooperativo, se presenta como una alternativa valiosa en la formación de estudiantes universitarios. El objetivo es potenciar su capacidad numérica y su habilidad para trabajar con sucesiones ordenadas e infinitas de números reales. Este enfoque se vuelve crucial para enfrentar los desafíos lógico-matemáticos, especialmente en pruebas universitarias que determinan el acceso a la educación superior. A diferencia de la educación secundaria, donde se observa un bajo rendimiento en matemáticas según informes del Instituto Nacional de Evaluación Educativa (INEVAL) revelando que los estudiantes enfrentan serias dificultades en matemáticas desde la educación secundaria. Los resultados en pruebas parciales relacionadas con progresiones aritméticas fluctúan entre 3 y 7 sobre 10 puntos, siendo este un indicador de las dificultades que enfrentan en el dominio de las progresiones aritméticas. Este artículo de investigación busca abordar esta problemática mediante el fortalecimiento de estas habilidades, con el propósito de mejorar los resultados académicos y promover un aprendizaje significativo en donde los educadores juegan un papel crucial en este cambio de paradigma, pasando de un enfoque individualista a uno cooperativo en la enseñanza de progresiones aritméticas.
