Factores Asociados a Complicaciones Postoperatorias en Pacientes Sometidas a Cesárea

Abstract

Se trata de un estudio descriptivo, retrospectivo y transversal realizado en el Hospital San José de Chincha. La muestra consiste de 287 pacientes sometidas a cesárea durante el periodo de un año. Los resultados fueron, el 50,2% de las cesáreas, fueron de emergencia; el 70,7% de las pacientes tenían grado de instrucción secundaria; se presentaron una mayor frecuencia de multíparas con el 50,2% de casos. Es relevante destacar, que el motivo de cesárea más frecuente fue la presentación podálica con el 20,9%, el 62% de los recién nacidos fueron del sexo femenino; la mayoría de pacientes estuvieron hospitalizadas entre 3 a 5 días en el 59,9% de los casos; no tuvieron antecedentes patológicos de importancia el 47,4%; manifestaron complicaciones el 7,7% de la cesareadas y la complicación más frecuente fue la corioamnionitis. Los factores asociados a complicaciones postoperatorias en pacientes sometidas a cesárea fueron: primiparidad, feto en transverso, y el antecedente de ITU y RPM.
