Penerapan Single Exponential Smoothing dalam Peramalan Produksi Koran Kaltara

Abstract

Single Exponential Smoothing merupakan metode peramalan rata-rata bergerak dengan pembobotan canggih, namun masih mudah digunakan dimana dalam mtode ini sangat sedikit pencatatan data masa lalu. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan metode Single Exponential Smoothing dalam meramalkan produksi koran kaltara. Adapun tujuan yang di harapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan metode Single Exponential Smoothing dalam meramalkan produksi koran kaltara. Perhitungan metode Single Eksponential Smoothing dilakukan dengan memilih parameter terbaik terlebih dahulu. Nilai terbaik yang terpilih adalah 0,9 untuk selanjutnya digunakan dalam menghitung peramalan. Berdasarkan parameter tersebut diperoleh hasil peramalan pada periode selanjutnya sebesar . Nilai MAPE yang diperoleh dari peramalan dengan menggunakan Single Eksponential Smoothing adalah sebesar Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai MAPE berada pada kriteria yang berararti nilai MAPE berada pada kriteria sangat baik sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa metode Single Eksponential Smoothing memiliki tingkat akurasi yang sangat baik dalam mendapatkan nilai taksiran
