O GRITO SILENCIADO: SUBALTERNIDADE E DISCURSO

Abstract

O artigo discute o conceito de subalternidade a partir das perspectivas de autores relevantes para a pesquisa científica, buscando entender seus possíveis significados e promover um debate enriquecedor entre estudiosos. De acordo com o Dicionário Online de Português (Dicio), "subalterno" pode significar "aquele que está sob as ordens de outra pessoa" ou "quem se sente inferior a outro(a)". O artigo destaca as ideias de intelectuais das Ciências Sociais e Políticas, visando contribuir para a sociedade ao iluminar questões pertinentes. Os autores debatidos são Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, Boaventura de Sousa Santos e Marilda Vilela Iamamoto. Spivak, teórica literária e crítica cultural indiana, são conhecida pelo ensaio "Pode o Subalterno Falar?" (1988), que aborda as dificuldades das populações marginalizadas em serem ouvidas dentro das estruturas de poder colonial e pós-colonial. Santos, sociólogo e jurista português desenvolveu o conceito de "Epistemologias do Sul", valorizando os saberes das sociedades marginalizadas pelo conhecimento ocidental hegemônico. Iamamoto, assistente social brasileira, analisa em sua obra "Serviço Social em Tempos de Capital Fetiche" (2007) o impacto do capital financeiro na sociedade contemporânea, abordando temas como a precarização do trabalho e as políticas sociais sob o neoliberalismo. O artigo examina as contribuições desses autores sobre subalternidade, colonialismo e pós-colonialismo, destacando como esses fenômenos continuam a moldar o panorama global contemporâneo e a sociedade marginalizada e segregada, bem como as formas de participação e representatividade, que devem dar voz aos subalternos.
