Einstellung zu Bildung

Abstract

Diese Skala dient der Erfassung der generalisierten Einstellung zu Bildung, die sich - ähnlich wie das Konstrukt der idealistischen Bildungsaspiration - auf die Stärke einer positiven Haltung zu Bildung und auf das Ausmaß, höhere Bildungsabschlüsse als unabdingbare Notwendigkeit anzusehen, bezieht. Die zugrundliegende Theorie stellt das Modell der Frame-Selektion dar, bei dem Bildungsentscheidungen (1) auf globalen und schematisch-angeordneten Einstellungsobjekten und (2) auf Werthaltungen der Befragten basieren. In den Antworten drückt sich somit aus, inwieweit ein höheres Bildungsniveau als Wert an sich angesehen wird.
