La lingua de "Lo Cunto de li cunti" di Giambattista Basile

Abstract

Il lavoro presenta una descrizione della lingua de Lo cunto de li cunti, raccolta di 50 racconti fiabeschi, scritta da Giambattista Basile e pubblicata, postuma, a Napoli negli anni 1634-36. Il commento linguistico ha la finalità di mostare come, nonostante l’elevato tasso di elaborazione letteraria che caratterizza il testo, la lingua usata da Basile non si discosta dalla fonetica, dalla morfologia, dalla sintassi e dal lessico del napoletano seicentesco. Il lavoro è articolato in sei capitoli: i primi due sono di introduzione (1. Il contesto e l’opera; 2. La lingua del Cunto: preliminari al commento linguistico), gli altri quattro sono dedicati alla descrizione linguistica vera e propria (3. Grafia e fonetica; 4. Morfologia; 5. Tra morfologia e lessico: composizione e alterazione; 6. Sintassi).
