Abstract

El trabajo de grado “VerifiCAR: Solución Tecnológica en la Nube para el Control y Seguimiento del Parque Automotor en Entidades Públicas” propone una herramienta innovadora diseñada para optimizar la gestión vehicular en entidades públicas. VerifiCAR centraliza información crítica, automatiza procesos administrativos y ofrece monitoreo en tiempo real, lo que permite mejorar el mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo, reducir costos operativos y aumentar la vida útil de los vehículos. La aplicación se alinea con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), especialmente los relacionados con sostenibilidad urbana, innovación y consumo responsable, contribuyendo a la modernización de las ciudades inteligentes y a la transparencia en la gestión pública. Al integrar tecnología en la nube y analítica avanzada, VerifiCAR fomenta la rendición de cuentas y la eficiencia operativa, mientras reduce riesgos de corrupción y accidentalidad. Este proyecto también busca fortalecer la gobernanza pública, respondiendo a las demandas actuales de movilidad sostenible y administración responsable de los recursos estatales. Además, su flexibilidad permite su replicabilidad en otros sectores, ampliando su impacto social y ambiental. VerifiCAR representa un avance significativo hacia la transformación digital del sector público y una herramienta clave para la gestión vehicular moderna y sostenible.

The academic project “VerifiCAR: A Cloud-Based Technological Solution for the Control and Monitoring of Public Sector Vehicle Fleets” proposes an innovative tool designed to optimize vehicle management in public entities. VerifiCAR centralizes critical information, automates administrative processes, and provides real-time monitoring, enabling improved preventive and corrective maintenance, reduced operational costs, and extended vehicle lifespan. The application aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to urban sustainability, innovation, and responsible consumption, contributing to the modernization of smart cities and increased transparency in public management. By integrating cloud technology and advanced analytics, VerifiCAR promotes accountability and operational efficiency while reducing risks of corruption and accidents. This project also aims to strengthen public governance, addressing current demands for sustainable mobility and responsible management of state resources. Additionally, its flexibility allows for replicability in other sectors, broadening its social and environmental impact. VerifiCAR represents a significant step toward the digital transformation of the public sector and serves as a key tool for modern, sustainable vehicle management.
