Holistic Financial Well-Being: Social Well-Being

Abstract

The concept of health and well-being, particularly in mental, emotional, and nutritional arenas, has gained increasing attention during and since the COVID-19 pandemic. However, there is still a dearth of information pertaining to their holistic and interrelated nature, including financial well-being, which has gained traction as a research subject. The Holistic Financial Well-Being series aims to improve awareness, knowledge, and behavior of the interconnections of financial well-being with seven other major areas: emotional, environmental, intellectual, physical, occupational, spiritual, and social. The seventh series entry provides an overview of this timely subject, introducing readers to the eight dimensions of wellness and the importance of building long-term healthy habits to foster stronger, more resilient social health.
