New version/Nueva version: https://figshare.com/articles/Lista_de_los_escarabajos_Passalidae_Coleoptera_Scarabaeoidea_del_Per_/9820220En base a información secundaria, se registran 57 especies, distribuidas en 6 géneros, comprendidas en las tribus Passalini (40 especies) y Proculini (17 especies), ambas en Passalinae. El género más abundante es Passalus con 30 especies distribuidas en sus 3 subgeneros: Passalus (Mitrorhinus) (3 especies), Passalus (Passalus) (20 especies) y Passalus (Pertinax) (7 especies). El segundo género más abundante es Veturius con 14 especies repartidas también en 3 subgeneros: Veturius (Veturius) (10 especies), Veturius (Ouyana) (3 especies) y Veturius (Publius) (1 especie). Los demás géneros se reparten las restantes especies: Paxillus (8 especies), Spasalus (2 especies), Popilius (2 especies) y Verres (1 especie).Se pueden encontrar, además, algunas citas de especies registradas, de momento, solamente en el Perú: Paxillus akatanga, Paxillus inca, Spasalus kaupi, Passalus (Mitrorhinus) schneideri, Passalus (Passalus) rotundatus, Passalus (Pertinax) episcopus, Passalus (Pertinax) prominens, Veturius (Veturius) arawak, Veturius (Veturius) inca, Veturius (Veturius) tarsipes ///// Based on secondary information, 57 species are recorded, distributed in 6 genera, including the Passalini tribes (40 species) and Proculini (17 species), both in Passalinae. The most abundant genus is Passalus with 30 species distributed in its 3 subgenera: Passalus (Mitrorhinus) (3 species), Passalus (Passalus) (20 species) and Passalus (Pertinax) (7 species). The second most abundant genus is Veturius with 14 species also divided into 3 subgenera: Veturius (Veturius) (10 species), Veturius (Ouyana) (3 species) and Veturius (Publius) (1 species). Others genera the remaining species are distributed: Paxillus (8 species), Spasalus (2 species), Popilius (2 species) and Verres (1 species). You can also find some quotes of registered species, for now, only in Peru: Paxillus akatanga, Paxillus inca, Spasalus Kaupi, Passalus (Mitrorhinus) schneideri, Passalus (Passalus) rotundatus, Passalus (Pertinax) episcopus, Passalus (Pertinax) prominens, Veturius (Veturius) arawak, Veturius (Veturius) Inca, Veturius (Veturius) tarsipes.
