https://linkedjazz.org/ Linked Jazz is an open, online project that applies the basics of LOD technology to digital cultural heritage materials to uncover and visualize the connections between data and documents related to jazz musicians. The objective is to create networks of communities based on the different relationship types in the industry (knew, was close friends, collaborated with, etc…). The Linked Jazz website is designed primarily for researchers and laymen interested in music history, jazz musicians, social and creative arts networking, and data visualization. This project also underscores the role of LOD in bringing to light new data and resources from disciplines that may be traditionally under-served by this form of knowledge management.
