Abstract

This presentation introduces the structure and conventions of TDWG controlled vocabularies and goes over the terminology used to describe them. In particular, it differentiates between labels, controlled value strings, and term names (CURIEs). This was an introduction to a controlled vocabularies label and definition translating workshop given at the 2021 TDWG annual meeting.
