Bolivia Elecciones Subnacionales 2021 (Elecciones de Autoridades Departamentales, Regionales y Municipales)

Abstract

El 7 de marzo de 2021 se llevaron a cabo las Elecciones de Autoridades Departamentales, Regionales y Municipales en Bolivia. Aunque originalmente estos comicios debían haberse celebrado en 2020, la crisis política boliviana de finales de 2019 y las postergaciones de las nuevas elecciones nacionales debido a la pandemia provocaron que este proceso electoral tarde un año más de lo planteado según el tiempo de mandato constitucional de las autoridades de los diferentes gobiernos subnacionales. Así, en este proceso se eligieron 9 Gobernadores/as, 336 Alcaldes/as, 2008 Concejales/as y 272 Asambleístas Departamentales para los niveles municipal y departamental. De igual manera, se eligieron autoridades de la única autonomía regional (Chaco en Tarija) y de las 7 autonomías indígenas.
