Abstract

Una de las situaciones más dramáticas para un trabajador es sufrir bullying laboral por parte de sus superiores con todas las consecuencias que ello tiene. El bullying laboral o mobbing se considera una conducta sistemática e intencionada de abuso en el puesto de trabajo, que suele proceder del jefe directo o algún superior, donde existe un cierto componente de autoritarismo por parte del acosador que hace que sea difícil enfrentarse a la situación sin poner en riesgo la reputación del empleado e incluso su puesto de trabajo. Aunque en ocasiones este mobbing también puede provenir de algún compañero "celoso" de sus éxitos profesionales y su buen desempeño, o simplemente por ser "el nuevo", en este caso, el acoso no se respalda tanto por una autoridad formal si no por una legitimada por el resto de los compañeros, que no sólo no intervienen para parar la situación, si no que a veces hasta la incentivan, como "gracia", o forma de "entretenimiento". Una situación que para el que lo padece va a ser más que dramática, ya que no sólo va a afectar en el ámbito laboral, si no que va a tener consecuencias en las relaciones sociales y familiares e incluso en cuanto a la propia salud, tanto física como psíquica. Es frecuente que la persona que sufre bullying laboral acabe con una baja autoestima, debido a que el acosador está siempre tratando de "ponerle la zancadilla" o hablando "a sus espaldas" para ponerlo en ridículo o para maximizar sus errores. Algo que en muchas ocasiones va a repercutir en un aumento de las bajas por depresión, lo que a su vez se va a ver reflejado en un menor
