It is not the object of this paper to take the place of a doctor's book or any reference book, however, every fact which has a strong meaning is authentic. This paper is written from an interesting viewpoint of child welfare. It is historical in that it traces some interesting developments of child welfare from its early stages and up to the work at present. It gives the contributions of several prominent people who have devoted much of their life in helping to better the conditions of the millions of children in our country.
