Abstract

RESUMEN: El objetivo principal de esta investigacion es analizar la adopcion de las energias renovables a nivel residencial y en dos energias limpias: biomasa y solar. Para cumplir este objetivo se analizan los principales determinantes que la literatura cientifica ha propuesto en relacion con el comportamiento ecologico o pro-ambiental (conocimiento previo de las energias renovables, actitud y adopcion de las energias renovables). Para ello se propone un modelo de comportamiento testado mediante PLS con informacion de 182 potenciales adoptadores de fuentes de energia renovable. Los resultados demuestran como la actitud hacia las energias renovables es el principal determinante de su adopcion final. Este trabajo arroja importantes implicaciones para los profesionales del sector energetico y para las instituciones encargadas de promover el uso de las energias renovables. Palabras Clave: energias renovables, comportamiento pro-ambiental, actitud, conocimiento previo, comportamiento del consumidor.
