Abstract

RESUMEN: Se tiene como objetivo la mejora de la eficiencia termica del ciclo Rankine mediante la asociacion de mejoras basadas en: (a), la reduccion de perdidas energeticas en el condensador por realizarse la condensacion en condiciones cuasi-criticas, (b), recuperacion de la energia residual mediante regeneracion y (c), eleccion de fluidos de trabajo adecuados, en donde se ha tomado en consideracion el dioxido de carbono, el etano y el xenon para los que la condensacion en condiciones cuasi-criticas es llevada a cabo a temperatura ambiente. En el estudio propuesto se comparan los citados fluidos, operando bajo diversas estructuras del ciclo Rankine en condiciones transcriticas con elevada eficiencia termica.
