Abstract

Las mayoritarias y tradicionales plantaciones de olivar han evolucionado al margen de su mecanizacion, estando actualmente con serios problemas en su rentabilidad. Es necesario tecnificar este sector debido a la falta de innovacion, particularmente en maquinaria, y para ello, se requieren sinergias entre el sector industrial y agronomico. El desarrollo de una cosechadora podria suponer un factor clave en este proceso que puede ser abordado mediante la tecnologia que aportan los sacudidores de copa laterales. Se propone desarrollar de un prototipo que coseche los arboles con una novedosa trayectoria alrededor de los mismos para alcanzar todo el arbol en unica pasada, en un proceso colaborativo entre ingenieros, investigadores, agricultores y fabricantes. Se ha caracterizado la morfologia de los arboles, y propuesto un sistema de formacion de su geometria que reduzca las irregularidades, asi como favorezca la produccion de fruto hacia las ramas exteriores. Se ha estudiado el comportamiento de los sacudidores en estas plantaciones con factibilidad en el derribo e interceptacion de fruto, aunque con la necesidad de un diseno especifico. Tras estas fases, se han desarrollado sistemas de derribo especificos para su integracion en una nueva cosechadora. Las pruebas en campo demuestran la viabilidad de la recoleccion integral, aunque requieren de un proceso mayor de mejora y desarrollo.
