La terminología como interdisciplina y transdisciplina: conexiones y aplicaciones

Abstract

El objetivo principal de este estudio es identificar y analizar las conexiones entre la terminología y otras disciplinas, lingüísticas y no lingüísticas, mostrando cómo su interacción con diferentes áreas del conocimiento, junto con la implementación de metodologías propias de la lingüística digital y del análisis de corpus, contribuye al desarrollo de estudios terminológicos y terminográficos. Dentro de las disciplinas lingüísticas, se distinguen dos grupos: las de carácter interno (semántica léxica/lexicología, neología) y las de carácter externo (traducción, política y planificación lingüísticas). En cuanto a las disciplinas no lingüísticas, destacan la documentación y la informática por su papel en la gestión, recuperación y análisis de datos terminológicos. El estudio de estas interacciones permite afirmar que la terminología no solo se fortalece como disciplina, sino que también contribuye al enriquecimiento de las áreas con las que se vincula, consolidando su papel central en la organización, estructuración y difusión del conocimiento especializado.
