Al viento: Una ciborg en el manicomnio franquista

Abstract

El empleo de la psiquiatrización y los manicomios como herramientas de sometimiento durante la dictadura franquista son el eje del proyecto artístico Al Viento (2019) llevado a cabo por Toxic Lesbian. Entre 2007 y hasta la actualidad, desde las Prácticas Sociales en el Arte, he desarrollado procesos de investigación-acción en colaboración con la sociedad civil representativa de las problemáticas tratadas, instituciones artísticas y culturales, así como científicas de memoria histórica. La metodología de creación de Al Viento se articula a partir de la recuperación de testimonios reales de mujeres psiquiatrizadas en ese momento y ahonda en la dimensión simbólica de su escucha. La perspectiva de género es esencial en el abordaje, describiendo la construcción de un modelo de país a la medida del sometimiento franquista, y conectándolo con las reivindicaciones de los activismos en salud mental del momento actual, quienes denuncian estructuras físicas y simbólicas de opresión semejantes. Como conclusión, Al Viento se propone como una estrategia desde el arte, vehiculada por la ciencia-ficción, para la recuperación de la memoria histórica y la utopía de su reescritura.
