Abstract

Este artigo examina a identificação com o agressor a partir do mito de Medusa, mobilizado como operador teórico-clínico na clínica do traumatismo. Em Freud, a identificação é concebida como processo estruturante do Eu, articulando laço e renúncia a partir da presença do outro na constituição psíquica. Em Anna Freud, a identificação com o agressor aparece como defesa adaptativa do Eu, transformando passividade em atividade e abrindo caminho para o Supereu. Ferenczi, delineia-se outro registro: diante do traumatismo sexual e do desmentido, o sujeito encontra uma saída extrema ao identificar-se com o agressor, mecanismo de defesa radical, mas ao preço de fragmentar o Eu e instaurar uma subjetivação marcada pela clivagem. Desenvolvimentos contemporâneos, como em Green e Roussillon, ampliam essa problemática, destacando a função desobjetalizante, as zonas de morte psíquica e a distinção entre introjeção e incorporação no processo de simbolização. O mito de Medusa, nesse percurso, não representa destino de petrificação, mas figura que convoca a clínica a sustentar o indizível sem reiterar o trauma, abrindo a possibilidade de sua elaboração como experiência narrável no testemunho clínico.
