Abstract

Theodore Bogler's ceramic kitchenwares were found on the photographs of a wall cabinet in the kitchen in the experimental house, “Am Horn” ‹Weimar›, which was built for “The 1923 BAUHAUS Exhibition”. The letters on the kitchenwares are considered to represent images of the period, showing what is contained in it. They are designed to be geometrical stencil typeface.This paper describes:1) an analysis for the form and elements of these stencil typeface.2) reconstruction of the stencil typeface which is available for a use on Personal Computer.
