Sensor Ultrasonik Sebagai Sensor Jarak

Abstract

Sensor jarak banyak diaplikasikan diberbagai keperluan, yaitu salah satunya sensor jarak pada mobil untuk mendeteksi benda disekitar mobil saat ingin parkir. Sensor jarak tersebut akan memberitahukan kepada pengemudi bahwa terdapat benda di sekitar mobil dengan jarak-jarak tertentu dengan bunyi alarm. Semakin deket jarak mobil dengan benda maka semakin cepat juga bunyi alarm-nya. Sensor jarak ultrasonik yaitu sensor jarak yang memanfaatkan gelombang bunyi ultrasonik untuk mendeteksi objek di depanya. Namun, pada kenyataanya, objek atau target tidak memiliki bentuk yang sama.Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan, yaitu untuk mengetahui jarak maksimal sensor ultrasonik yang dapat dicapai dengan hasil terbaik dan bentuk bidang pantul yang efisien bagi sensor ultrasonik untuk memantulkan gelombang dengan baik. Hasil dari penelitian ini, yaitu pada jarak 180 cm (pengukuran penggaris) didapat hasil pengukuran sensor jarak dari benda pantul tabung 176 cm, sedangkan benda pantuk balok hasil pengukuran jaraknya 173 cm. Dan didapat jarak masimal yang dapat diukur oleh sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04 yaitu 515 cm.
