Abstract

La tecnología de Concentración Fotovoltaica (CPV, por sus siglas en inglés), recientemente ha cobrado mucho interés como una alternativa de generación de electricidad solar para el abastecimiento de servicios públicos. La industria de CPV ha permanecido en constante investigación con el fin de competir con otras tecnologías fotovoltaicas en el mercado. Por otra parte, es muy importante atender la problemática y enfocarse en la creciente necesidad de realizar desarrollos tecnológicos innovadores que atiendan los distintos retos que enfrenta el país en materia del aprovechamiento sustentable de la energíasolar de concentración fotovoltaica en un futuro próximo. En este artículo se presenta el diseño y construcción de un sistema de concentración solar fotovoltaica CPV con la finalidad de utilizarlo en la caracterización de celdas fotovoltaicas de alta eficiencia (celdas de triple unión y fototermoiónicas), ya que este sistema CPV tiene la capacidad de producir distribuciones de flujo radiativo uniforme en la zona focal con niveles de concentración en un rango dinámico de 1X a 1300x (soles o número de veces la radiación normal del sol).
