Similitudes y diferencias económico-espaciales: hechos estilizados de empresas en Cali metropolitana

Abstract

El artículo examina similitudes y/o diferencias económico-espaciales de las empresas ubicadas en el área metropolitana de Cali, empleando la metodología de análisis de correspondencia múltiple y enfocándose en el sector de productos alimenticios (el de mayor peso porcentual). No obstante, se identifican los patrones de aglomeración y densidad espacial, por medio de la función K de Ripley para obtener un primer acercamiento para dicho propósito. Los resultados revelan aglomeración espacial para las empresas de productos alimenticios y destacan que las empresas industriales y de servicios industriales suelen ser medianas o grandes, con bajas densidades de concentración.
