Human Assist Devices

Abstract

The advent of the Information Age has revolutionised almost every facet of human interaction and communication. People with physical and communicative disabilities now see everyday life as a path towards competence rather than disability, thanks to contemporary technology, which has been a boon for some and a burden for others in this new human-technology dynamic. Clinicians, product developers, families, and people may all benefit greatly from this book’s analysis of assistive technology, which will be useful for making recommendations, choosing, buying, designing, and using such devices.
