Douze especes de Ctenophilus Cook, 1896 sont actuellement considerees comme valides. La liste des taxa ethiopiens et neotropicaux est donnee. Ctenophilus amieti (Demange, 1963), Ctenophilus corticeus (Demange, 1968), Ctenophilus ofigopodus (Demange, 1963) et Ctenophilus pratensis (Demange, 1963) sont a nouveau decries et figures. Pleuroschendyla magna Demange, 1963 est synonyme de Ctenophilus amieti (Demange, 1963). Des documents supplementaires sur Ctenophilus edentufus (Porat, 1894) et Ctenophilus nesiotes (Chamberlin, 1918) sont donnes a partir de specimens-types ou d'un nouveau materiel additionnel.
Twelve species of Ctenophifus Cook, 1896 are regarded as valid. Known Ethiopian and neotropical taxa are listed. Ctenophifus amieti (Demange, 1963), Ctenophifus corticeus (Demange, 1968), Ctenophilus ofigopodus (Demange, 1963) and Ctenophilus pratensis (Demange, 1963) are redescribed and figured from type and/or non type specimens. Pfeuroschendyla magna Demange, 1963 is considered to be a synonym of Ctenophilus amieti (Demange, 1963). Additional informations on Ctenophilus edentufus (Porat, 1894) and Ctenophilus nesiotes (Chamberlin, 1918) are given from type and/or additional specimens.
