Abstract

Berat badan ideal adalah impian semua orang. Tidak hanya memiliki bentuk tubuh yang menunjang penampilan, berat badan ideal juga menandakan kondisi tubuh yang sehat. Menjaga berat badan merupakan salah satu kunci utama untuk mempunyai tubuh yang sehat dan bugar. Untuk mengetahui apakah berat badan kita ideal, kita bisa melihatnya dari pengukuran Body Mass Index (BMI). BMI diukur dengan membandingkan tinggi dan berat badan. Secara mendasar, BMI adalah salah satu tolak ukur yang bisa digunakan sebagai cara mengetahui berat badan ideal. Seiring berkembangnya jaman, pemanfaatan teknologi yang ada banyak diaplikasikan di dunia kesehatan. Salah satunya BMI Calculator dengan memanfaatkan mikrokontroller seperti Arduino UNO. BMI Calculator adalah alat pengukuran yang umum digunakan untuk mengevaluasi Body Mass Index (BMI) seseorang. Alat ini membantu individu dan profesional kesehatan untuk dengan cepat menentukan apakah seseorang berada dalam kisaran berat badan yang sehat, kurang berat, atau kelebihan berat.
