The library "Vuk Karadžić" in Prijepolje commenced the process of indigenous material heritage digitalization and establishing a Digital Library of Prijepolje at the end of the 2016. The process is initiated through the program of Transboundary Cooperation of Serbia and Montenegro within Instrument of Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) and the project entitled as "Culture for Europe, Europe for Culture".The project enabled procurement of corresponding scanner, necessary education for operating in the digitalization process for librarians, procurement of corresponding hardware and software, creating a subdomain for the digital library, and creating a catalog of digitalized indigenous material as well as the promotion of this material. At this moment of 2018, Digital Library of Prijepolje is consisted of more than 42617 pages of all types of content: 1400 digital objects distributed in five base collections, which are further divided into subcollections.
