The cultural-historical heritage represents an important tourist potential of the Prnjavor region, because it tells about its history and development, as well as about the characteristics that can be important for the formation of the tourist off er. The paper deals with the analysis of the possibility of including the cultural and historical heritage in the development of tourism in the area of the city of Prnjavor. Thanks to natural and antropogenic potentials, this area has significant tourist potential. The town of Prnjavor has a rich cultural and historical heritage. There are traces of different historical periods and archaeological sites. Cultural monuments, religious buildings, folklore, fulk customs and various manifestations enable the development of tourism. The curtural and historical heritage has not been fully presented to the public, so its tourism valorization has also been absent. Tourism is one of the most promising economic branches in the area of the City of Prnjavor.
