Proposta de Instrumento Para Avaliação da Caminhabilidade em Campi Universitários

Abstract

Este estudo objetivou elaborar instrumento de avaliação da percepção de caminhabilidade em campi universitários. Baseada na escala NEWS (Neighbourhood Environmet Walkability Scale), a Escala de Percepção de Caminhabilidade em Campus Universitário (EPCcampus) foi aferida por meio de questionário constituído por 15 questões conexas à qualidade dos espaços caminháveis, para as quais os entrevistados utilizam uma escala do tipo Likert para suas respostas. Outras 4 questões relativas à satisfação do usuário foram adicionadas ao questionário. Foi realizada pesquisa de opinião com 273 estudantes de três campi universitários (UFSCar, USP I e USP II) da cidade de São Carlos, São Paulo, Brasil. As análises estatísticas realizadas demonstraram boa consistência do instrumento (α de Cronbach de 0,756) e forte correlação entre percepção e satisfação do usuário (R=0,71). Obteve-se percepção Regular como a mais representativa para o campus UFSCar e Boa para os campi USP I e USP II.
