Abstract

Cilj je rada istraživanje moći u medijima stripa i animacije. Kako je riječ o medijima masovne recepcije, autor polazi od pretpostavke – prenesene iz razdiobe vrsta moći Johna Kennetha Galbraitha – da se u ovom slučaju radi o kondicionirajućoj moći koja diseminira svjetonazor i ideologiju.117 U tom kontekstu promotren je određeni broj primjera uglavnom američke, britanske i japanske kako strip-produkcije, tako i animiranog filma od 1929. do 1988. godine, s naglaskom na produkcije velikih izdavača i studija za animaciju. Zaključno se utvrdilo da strip i animirani film u prvoj polovini 20. stoljeća oblikuju i dodatno diseminiraju uvjerenja koja su društveno već prisutna, dok u drugoj polovici stoljeća dolazi do promjene svjetonazorskih i ideoloških pretpostavki što oba medija do izvjesne mjere unaprijed nagovještavaju, a donekle i kondicioniraju.
