ผลของภาระที่ไม่คงตัวต่อประสิทธิภาพของระบบเซลล์เชื้อเพลิงชนิด PEM

Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ศึกษาถึงประสิทธิภาพของระบบเซลล์เชื้อเพลิงชนิดเมมเบรนแลกเปลี่ยนโปรตอนภายใต้การทำงานในสภาวะคงตัวและไม่คงตัว เพื่อระบุถึงต้นเหตุหลักที่ส่งผลต่อประสิทธิภาพของระบบเซลล์เชื้อเพลิงทั้งในสภาวะคงตัวและไม่คงตัว พร้อมระบุแนวทางการออกแบบระบบเสริมได้แก่ คอมเพรสเซอร์และชุดพัดลมระบายอากาศ การศึกษานี้นำเสนออัตราการเปลี่ยนแปลงกำลังไฟฟ้าในรูปตัวแปรไร้มิติที่เรียกว่า normalized power slew rate ที่สามารถใช้เป็นพารามิเตอร์ที่บ่งบอกสภาพไม่คงตัวของภาระและใช้อ้างอิงได้กับระบบเซลล์เชื้อเพลิงขนาดอื่นด้วย การทดสอบระบบเซลล์เชื้อเพลิงในสภาวะไม่คงตัวอ้างอิงภาระตามวัฏจักรขับขี่จำนวน 4 วัฏจักรได้แก่ modified FTP75, NYCC, ECE15 และ HWFET นอกจากนี้ยังได้ทดสอบระบบเซลล์เชื้อเพลิงภายใต้ภาระแบบไซน์ที่มีความถี่แตกต่างกัน ผลการทดสอบสมรรถนะของเซลล์แถวด้วยภาระแบบไซน์สามารถระบุได้ถึงช่วงของ normalized power slew rate ที่ส่งผลให้สมรรถนะของเซลล์แถวแตกต่างจากสภาวะคงตัวอย่างชัดเจน เมื่อพิจารณาประสิทธิภาพของเซลล์แถวภายใต้วัฏจักรขับขี่พบว่าแตกต่างจากสภาวะคงตัวน้อยมาก (ประมาณ 1%) เนื่องจากวัฏจักรขับขี่มี normalized power slew rate อยู่ในช่วงที่ไม่สูงพอที่จะให้เกิดความแตกต่างจากสภาวะคงตัว อย่างไรก็ตามเมื่อพิจารณาประสิทธิภาพของทั้งระบบเซลล์เชื้อเพลิงพบว่าแตกต่างจากสภาวะคงตัวมากขึ้น (ประมาณ 3%) โดยเฉพาะช่วงภาระสูง สาเหตุเกิดจากการทำงานของคอมเพรสเซอร์ที่ทำหน้าที่ไล่น้ำที่ตกค้างในช่องทางการไหลเมื่อระบบตรวจวัดพบว่าเซลล์แถวเกิดสภาวะน้ำท่วม ในช่วงการไล่น้ำประสิทธิภาพของระบบเซลล์เชื้อเพลิงจะลดต่ำลงจากสภาวะคงตัวอย่างชัดเจน สำหรับแนวทางการออกแบบระบบเสริมได้พิจารณาในแง่มุมของขนาดการบริโภคกำลังไฟฟ้าของคอมเพรสเซอร์และชุดพัดลมระบายอากาศ โดยประเมินการบริโภคกำลังไฟฟ้าจากส่องส่วนคือ กำลังไฟฟ้าที่ขับเคลื่อนเพลาจากแบบจำลองไอเซนทรอปิก และการสูญเสียในมอเตอร์จากการทดสอบในสภาวะไร้ภาระ ผลการเปรียบเทียบการประเมินการบริโภคกำลังไฟฟ้ากับผลการทดลอง พบว่าแนวทางดังกล่าวนี้มีความแม่นยำเพียงพอที่จะใช้เป็นแนวทางในการออกแบบระบบเสริมได้
