Gaucher Hastalığı ve Oksidatif Stres İlişkisi

Abstract

Gaucher hastalığı hücrelerimizde bulunan lizozomların depo işlevinde gerçekleşen glukoserebrozidaz enzim eksikliğine bağlı olarak gerçekleşen ve nadir görülen genetik bir hastalıktır. GD karaciğer dalak kan hücreleri kemik ve sinir sisteminde çeşitli bozukluklara yol açar. Oksidatif stres vücuda dışardan alınan veya içerde oluşan reaktif oksijen türlerinin vücuttaki biyomoleküllerle etkileşime geçerek işlevlerini kaybetmesi sonucu vücutta yaşanan bozukluklardır. Oksidatif stresin vücutta belirteçleri ve oluşacak hasarları engelleyici enzimler ve moleküller bulunur. Bu enzim ve moleküllere bakılarak metabolizmada ki oksidatif stres düzeyleri ölçülebilir. Derlenen bu bölümümüzde GD hastalarında oksidatif stres belirteçlerine bakılarak GD ile oksidatif stres arasındaki ilişki belirtilmiştir.
