Estudio de Fase I para determinar la tolerabilidad tópica de Ion Gel ZCM-25

Abstract

Objetivo: Evaluar la Tolerabilidad del producto Ion Gel ZCM-25, medido como el grado de irritabilidad: Edema y/o Eritema, durante un lapso de 14 días de administración en sujetos sanos. Métodos. Se reclutaron 20 sujetos de investigación de ambos sexos, se administró una dosis de 0.5 mL del tratamiento tópico por 14 días y se evaluó durante 15 visitas; toda la información obtenida fue procesada utilizando las herramientas de Excel para Microsoft 365 MSO. Se registraron las variables del estudio: Edema y / o Eritema como resultado de la evaluación clínica durante las visitas desarrolladas durante el estudio. Se utilizó la escala de evaluación indicada en la FEUM (12a Ed.). Resultados. La incidencia de edema y/o eritema, es menor a la presentada en la prueba de Irritabilidad en piel sana, por lo que, de acuerdo con la clasificación de la FEUM, el producto es No Irritante. Conclusiones. Ion Gel ZCM-25 demostró Tolerabilidad en la piel sana de sujetos de investigación sanos, después de la administración repetida durante 14 días.
